How We Work

Chief Architect Premier

With incredible live rendering capabilities, Chief Architect Premier ensures efficient drafting and provides renders that showcase all aspects
of a design in dynamic conditions.

Clients can view and walk-through an online 3D model during the course of design.

Unreal Engine 5 x Twinmotion

Unreal Engine 5 & Twinmotion are industry-leading rendering platforms. Both simulate lifelike lighting, dynamic shadows, and detailed textures.

Premium clients may opt-in to interactive models, so you can experience your design before committing to construction.

Digital Reach

While we are based in Colorado, our services are provided countrywide. We use remote work & coworking spaces to provide flexibility to
our clients, regardless of location.

We carefully vet contractors to ensure
quality and a local’s touch.

What We Provide

Our goal: bring your vision to life. From patio covers to duplexes, we'll help you realise your idea with a tailored package.

No timeline? We’ll work around your schedule.
Questions? We've got answers.
No budget set? We’ll help you plan.

Feasibility Studies offer detailed reports on development and interpret local & regulatory codes into actionable and digestible information for development.

Visualisations provide accurate images reflecting your design decisions in dynamic and geographically realistic lighting.

Construction Documents are finalized and engineered* documents that comply with applicable code, zoning, and environmental overlays.

Vision First

To be transparent, there are no licensed architects at Mountain West Modeling. We stick to our vision first, which is providing residential design services for ADUs, additions, remodels, single-family residences, and “low density” multi-unit residences.

In the interest of providing efficient and cost-effective services, we do not design buildings or accessory structures that fall outside of the scope of C.R.S. 12-120-403. We recommend contacting a Licensed Architect and/or Engineer for any buildings/accessory structures that are not contained within C.R.S. 12-120-403.

Projects in States and Counties not listed below are subject to an internal review process to determine feasibility.

Mountain West Modeling does not provide consultation, design, or referrals for commercial work.

Scope Second

Where We Work

The Rocky Mountain State is our home base and source of inspiration. Challenging terrain, diverse seasons, and soaring peaks like the ones found here are hard to find anywhere else. All of our designs come with a taste of what makes this place special in them.

Colorado adopted new Residential Energy Code Provisions, which fit the state’s four climate zones: Mixed Dry, Cold (5), Cold (6), and Very Cold. Sustainability is a core aspect of our passion for residential design. Even if a “Passive House” is not your goal, we will use our domestic expertise to design a cost-effective, buildable, and sustainable solution with you.

With some of the harshest building conditions in the country, our designs are custom-made to ensure livability, longevity, and long-term sustainability.

We focus on providing services along the Front Range, I-70 Corridor, and in Garfield County. Depending on the season, we consider services in other regions of Colorado on a case-by-case basis. Remote services are always offered.

Colorado

The Pacific Northwest is a region filled with natural wonders. Home to Mt. Rainier, Mt. Hood, and the largest domestic evergreen and pine forests, many love to call Washington and Oregon home. It’s not hard to imagine why.

Washington State has two climate zones: Marine and Cold (5). Washington also has many shorelines, coastlines, wetlands, and other environmentally (and socially) critical areas. We have developed a strong record of managing projects that work through these challenges with effectiveness and efficiency. Oregon is similar to Washington, but has key differences, such as three climate zones.

We have worked with agencies including Seattle Department of Constructions & Inspections (SDCI), Department of Ecology (SEPA, SMP), and the following counties: Multnomah, Bellevue, Snohomish, Pierce, Cowlitz, Mason, and Skagit.

We are presently reducing our presence in Washington, existing clients are being serviced.

California

From sun-soaked coasts to the snow-capped Sierras, California offers some of the most varied building conditions in the country. The state spans multiple climate zones. This diversity, combined with some of the most rigorous energy and building codes in the U.S., demands a design approach that is both adaptive and forward-thinking.

We have experience navigating California’s Title 24 Energy Standards, wildfire-resistant design requirements, and coastal development regulations. Whether your project is in San Diego County, the Bay Area, or the mountain communities of the Sierra Nevada, we create solutions that meet local requirements without compromise.

We presently provide our services in San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, and Imperial County.

From the Outer Banks to the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Carolina’s landscapes offer a range of building environments that each carry their own challenges and opportunities. The state’s climate zones require careful attention to moisture control, ventilation, and energy performance to ensure long-term comfort and durability.

We bring our experience in designing for both coastal and inland communities, with solutions that address hurricane resilience, floodplain considerations, and energy efficiency. Our approach balances the Carolina’s traditional architectural character with designs that feel at home in their often-historic environments. We are familiar with creating designs compliant with historic preservation societies and can connect you with our preferred contractor network to ensure a seamless transition into construction.

Projects in the Carolinas include work in Mecklenburg, Lincoln, and Rowan County.

Cameron - Founder & Principal

I have always had a passion for design. To me, design is a vehicle for conveying information and sharing meaning (across any discipline).

Starting as Editor-in-Chief, I led a full rebranding of my school newspaper. Working with our editorial staff and advisors, we modernised and streamlined the paper’s visual identity and content delivery.

Over the past decade, I’ve gained experience in boutique hospitality, operations, and client service with brands such as W Hotels and Gaylord Hotels. I was present during the transition from Starwood Hotels & Resorts to Marriott International, gaining not only operational expertise but also a unique appreciation for how thoughtful design shapes hospitality experiences.

Before founding Mountain West Modeling’s parent company, I served on the pre-opening teams for W Aspen and Gaylord Rockies, and earlier for W Bellevue. I was also part of the pre-opening team for Next Level Burger’s first franchise location.

These roles served my desire to manage complex projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver consistent results under demanding conditions. I’ve always sought out opening teams — and now I’ve transitioned to being yours.

Then, now, and as always, my passion is creating spaces that speak to you and the people you care about most.

Thank you for your interest in Mountain West Modeling! We’d love to bring your vision to life.
